The product has been formulated and controlled in order to reduce any risks resulting from its use for both the client and the hairdresser. The following instructions and warning are to be read carefully before use so as to minimize any risks. The product contains persulfates. A PRELIMINARY SENSITIVITY TEST (PATCH TEST) MUST BE PERFORMED 48 HOURS BEFORE EACH APPLICATION, even if the customer has already used hair dyes. Purpose of the test: to check the skin’s tolerance to the product. How to perform the patch test. Carefully cleanse a small area of the skin behind the ear or on the forearm with alcohol. Mix I.C.O.N. Cream Bleach with I.C.O.N. Cream Developer. Apply the mixture to the prepared area using cotton wool or a small brush. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times and leave to dry. Do not wash off, leave on for 48 hours, then rinse off carefully. If, at the end of the 48 hours, there should be signs of irritation, inflammation or itching do not apply the product. The fact that there is no response to this test does not guarantee that there will not be allergic reaction in future dying. IF DURING DYING OPERATIONS, THERE IS ANY ITCHING OR BURNING AND/OR IF A SKIN RASH APPEARS, RINSE IMMEDIATELY AND INTERRUPT THE APPLICATION. In the case of a rash which spreads rapidly, or if the person feels faint or dizzy, has difficulty in breathing and/or presents swollen eyes/ face, rinse immediately and consult a doctor. In successive days following a hair decoloring, if any problems arise such as itching, rash, swelling or blistering contact a doctor immediately. Well-fitting and protective mono-use plastic gloves, which cover the forearm, must be worn before applying the barrier cream and during all the stages of contact, application and rinsing of the product. Avoid contact with eyes. The product could cause irritation if there is contact with skin. If there is contact with either skin or the eyes, rinse off well immediately with plenty of water and if irritation persists consult a specialist. After application ensure that hair has been rinsed well and thoroughly. The product must not be applied to unhealthy scalps which have sores or are irritated or present pathologies such as eczema, psoriasis etc. The product could provoke an allergic reaction. The product must not be used if the client is allergic or sensitive to one or more of the components listed on the box or to similar products. The instructions supplied must be followed carefully and the product must only be used for the use stated. Once mixed the product must be used immediately. Left over product must be thrown away and not reused. The product can stain fabrics, walls and other surfaces; stains should be washed off immediately. The recommended processing times must be respected and never exceeded. Apply the product in well-ventilated areas. Keep out of the reach of children. It is advisable to mix and prepare the product under a vent-hood. Do not use the product to lighten eyelashes, eyebrows, beards or moustaches. Never use on children.
