The vegan and cruelty-free company blends natural raw materials with the most advanced technology in its products.

Enthusiastic about research and the search for new ingredients, Chiara Scudieri has been revolutionizing the hair care industry for more than 20 years.

In 2002, she founds I.C.O.N. together with her partner Jorge Rubin. Today, the firm is a multinational company, based in Los Angeles and Vigo, present in more than 36 countries and with numerous awards to its credit, such as the European Business Awards 2021.

As creative director of I.C.O.N., Chiara works from the laboratories of the American headquarters, in the research, development and manufacture of new products that combine organic ingredients with the most technologically advanced science. She oversees the entire process, approves each batch and meticulously tests each production before it reaches the consumers.

In addition, Chiara captains a program focused on the fight against cancer. In 2007, I.C.O.N. launched the ‘Cure for a Cause’ campaign, using one of its most iconic products, Cure Spray, to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

In the early nineties, the entrepreneur worked at the head of the Product Development Department of the Sebastian family business. It was at this time that her passion for R&D and the constant search for new challenges emerged, a passion that has accompanied her throughout her career. With the acquisition of Sebastian by Wella, Scudieri became head of the company’s Research and Development Department.

With a long history in the beauty industry, Chiara sets no limits for herself and is determined to continue working to deliver high quality products that inspire creativity and confidence in her customers.
